Lagos Waterways Authority Rescues Man After Jumping Into Lagoon In Lekki
A yet to be identified man has been rescued from committing suicide after jumping off the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge some moments ago.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Lagos first responders, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) had received distress call after the man jumped into the Lagoon and it immediately contacted the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) which then deployed divers to search for the man.
According to reports from the Waterways Authority, the man was rescued alive from the lagoon by the divers and was handed over to LASEMA Team and was taken away from the scene in a waiting ambulance.
After the rescue mission the LASWA reiterated its commitment to keeping the Lagos Waterways safe always for commuters
