Lagos State Tricycle chairman distributes 100 tricycles to members

It was an ambiance of elation as the Chairman of Tricycle Owners Drivers Association of Lagos State; Alhaji Comrade Abdusalam Nurudeen distributed 100 tricycles, famously known as Keke-Napep alias Maruwa to members of the Association across units under his administrative jurisdiction as he charged them to see entrepreneurship as an honest means of livelihood.

Alhaji Nurudeen, who had earlier on June 12, 2019 rewarded the Excos across the state for their contribution and commitment towards the association’s progress, has said the gifted-tricycles are aimed at mitigating poverty.

 

The chairman, while speaking to Blackbox held that: such kind gestures will encourage an honest means of livelihood which automatically reduces; corruption and other awful vices currently embattled by the nation.

While giving a statement at the distribution ground, KM 12, Akesan bus stop, Lasu-Isheri Road, Comrade Abdusalam expressed his unwavering dedication towards eradicating poverty, especially amongst his members 

“I am glad to announce the distribution of 100 tricycles to our members today; this kind gesture is not restricted to this unit alone. This is an effort to grow the standard of living of our members and to complement government’s sincere efforts in mitigating poverty.

“I employ us all to desist from any illegal act that might bring us into the limelight of the law, lets us also try to leave within our income,

Mrs. Ajayi Mariam one of the elated beneficiaries from Badagry expressed her heart filled with gratitude towards the Chairman.

“I want to appreciate the chairman for this kind act, and I believe this effort will go a long way in bringing people out of poverty”.
