Lagos State Taskforce Discovers Live Lion Inside Residential Building In Victoria Island

A 24months old lion has been reportedly spotted in a residential home in Victoria Island area of Lagos.

Preliminary report has it that the house is currently being occupied by an unnamed Indian.

This incident has been confirmed by the Chairman of Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences, Yinka Egbeyemi in a chat with Channels Television.

According to him, men of the Nigeria Police Force have been informed and  deployed to the area.

Egbeyemi also disclosed that efforts were ongoing by the State Government through the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to evacuate the animal from the building.
