LAGOS STATE REHABILITATION CENTRE, MAJIDUN RECEIVES FRESH SUPPLIES OF DRUGS, OTHER MATERIALS FROM THE MOJEED SANNI FAMILY
Officials of the Lagos State Rehabilitation Centre, Majidun did not hold back on their profound gratitude as the family of Mojeed Adeola Akanbi Sanni popularly known with the acronym; ‘MAAS’ in its usual practice recently donated drugs and other items to the facility in order to improve the standard of living experienced by patients of the Centre managed by the state government.
The presentation ceremony of the items worth thousands of Naira as donated by the Ikorodu family was in the mood of the Easter celebration commemorated in few days ago in April.
According to the family, the donation was borne out of the sole desire of looking out for the less privilege in the society especially those struggling with their mental health as a result of the excess intake of drug and other harmful substance.
In reacting to the gesture of the MAAS Family, officials of the Rehabilitation Centre expressed their gratitude to the Sannis for their timely intervention as government alone cannot do it all when it comes to meeting the needs of the facility responsible for taking care of the mentally challenged in the society.
The management of the Centre while commending the family for their usual outreach to the Centre, revealed that the donation of drugs by the family was a stitch in time as medication in rehabilitating patients suffering from mental disorder is very important.

“Government cannot do it alone. The society could use family like yours as we are making our streets secured for everyone to walk in and giving these ones a second chance.
“You may think the items you donate to this Centre are small, but they go a long way to making our work efficient here,” The management expressed.
Members of the family present were also urged by the management of the Centre to take the message against drug abuse to the outside world and preach the virtues of self-discipline.
The Mojeed Adeola Akanbi Sanni have over the years among other essential items donated to the Centre; a borehole, food items, clothes, a rostrum and recently necessary medications.
