By The Lagos State Government has started the removal of structures obstructing the Right of Way on the Lekki Regional Road.
This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Idris Salako, at a stakeholders’ meeting in Alausa, on Monday.
Salako noted that the exercise has become imperative to pave way for the smooth execution of the project.
The Commissioner explained that the Ministry had taken time to have stakeholders’ engagements, as well as serving the statutory notices to owners of affected structures, in a newspaper publication of June 16,
2020.
He reiterated that the Lekki Regional Road is a major road being embarked upon by the Lagos State Government to facilitate transportation and socio-economic development, in line with its T.H.E.M.E.S agenda.
