By Youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has commended the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) for its official endorsement of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a well-deserved second term in office.
BlackBox Nigeria had reported that the GAC, which happens to be the highest decision making body of the Lagos APC, met on Monday at the State House, Marina where it gave its nod to Sanwo-Olu’s re-election bid.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Lagos APC Youth Leader, Dr Seriki Muritala described the endorsement as a panacea for continuity and stability in governance in the state.
Seriki noted that the decision came in the light of the governor’s “sterling performance in taking Lagos to the next level on many fronts and impacting lives remarkably in the last few years, and is strongly indicative of the good to come for Lagosians in the next four years under His proactive watch.”
“I have no doubt whatsoever that the THEMES agenda will yield even more possibilities for citizens of our State in traffic management, transportation, health, environment, education, technology, security and governance; making Lagos the 21st century city of choice,” he said.
The Lagos APC Youth Leader urged young people in the state to get their Permanent Voter Card (PVC) to enable them vote for Sanwo-Olu for a second term of peace, progress and development.
He further revealed that the entire youths of Lagos State would be corroborating the GAC’s endorsement in a matter of days by organizing a massive youth endorsement/support for the governor.
