By Lagos Police Officer Dies In Balogun Market Fire
Updates reaching BlackBox Nigeria at the moment confirms the death of one unnamed Police officer at the fire that engulfed the Balogun Market, Lagos Island.
According to the Media Office of RRS, the officer who was among security operatives dispatched to the fire incident was trapped when the a section of of the building razed by fire collapsed, killing him on the spot.
It will be recalled that the fire which started about mid day on Tuesday, November 5th affected a section of the popular Balogun market in Lagos Island.
But despite the early response of Fire fighters and other State emergency officials, it was gathered that the fire is yet to be put off as the inner part of the building is still burning as at press time.
