Three members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State has been suspended by the party’s Executive Committee over allegations of anti-party activities.
The suspended officers include the Secretary, Mr. Muiz Shodipe, Publicity Secretary Taofik Gani and Ex-officio member Nurudeen Adewale.
In a statement, on Wednesday, the Lagos PDP Chairman, Adedeji Doherty, accused the trio of “consistently and flagrantly breaching major provisions of the party constitution and have been found to have involved themselves in anti-party activities, which can cause disunity among faithful.”
Doherty added that these suspended officers were “constantly creating disharmony, discord and division in the party by calling unauthorised executive meetings to create a parallel structure in the party.”
