By Lagos Lawmakers, Others Pay Courtesy Visit To Tinubu Over Son’s Death
Hon Babajimi Benson on Wednesday joined first callers at the Abuja residence of APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu after the news of death of his son, Jide got out. He joined others like Hon Femi Gbajabiamila an other lawmakers who also heard the sad news.
It will be recalled that late Mr Jide passed away in Lagos after complaining of chest pain. The sad news got to his father, Tinubu who was in the Federal Capital Territory where he had gone to see President Buhari and also leaders of the ruling party.
Hon Benson in a statement made available to BlackBox Nigeria registered his grief over the death of the 43-years-old lawyer. He also added prayers for the former Governor and his entire family members.
“Along with many well wishers, I share my sincere condolences with our National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on the immeasurable loss of his son, Jide Tinubu.
“I pray that the family’s heart and soul find peace and comfort during this difficult period. May Almighty Allah grant our leader the fortitude to bear this loss.”
