By Lagos Lawmaker Honourable Mojisolaoluwa Alli-Macaulay restates Commitment towards Youth Oriented Initiatives
In yet another revalidation of love for the youth demography, the lawmaker representing Amuwo Odofin Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Mojisolaoluwa Alli-Macaulay has restated her commitment towards the development of the youths in all ramifications of which sports is an integral part.
This validation was established in the ongoing Amuwogames which will be coming to a close today, 28th November 2021 with a gala night. Amuwo games, a biennial event which was established to bring about cohesion and mitigate the restiveness in the youths of Amuwo Odofin especially during political periods kicked off on 6th, November 2021 and lasted for about a month with the games holding at different venues across the community while featuring about seventeen (17) different games without age barrier.
In furtherance of the testament of Hon Mojisola Alli-Macaulay’s love for the youths and her unending quest to see the youths of Amuwo Odofin and Lagos State thrive in all of their endeavours, she has been able to identify with the Amuwo Games Initiative where she pledged her full support towards the success of this great event at the opening ceremony and was actively involved in the activities.
Mama Amuwo as she’s fondly called by the people is known for her selflessness and motherly love for the youths and this she has over time exhibited which is evident in her numerous policies, projects and empowerment programs which has been targeted to the youths, children, women and aged in the community.
The lawmaker has therefore called upon all stakeholders to support great initiatives like this that will engage and project the youths of the community while harnessing their potentials for greatness towards individual and community development.
In her statement, she emphasized on the importance of sporting activities in bringing about a healthy community of people, and as a means of curbing social vices which is done through the engagements of the youths in positive meaningful activities that will enhance their spirit.
She further commended the organizers of the event which she tagged as laudable and worthy of emulation by other communities in order to help realize the THEMES agenda of the Governor of which sports is an integral part of.
Honourable Mojisola Alli-Macaulay reiterated that she will always do everything within her power to identify with the youths and support them in all of their endeavours in order to bring about positive individual, community and national development at large.
