By Lagos Lawmaker Donates Cash To Father Of Triplets
A member of House of Representatives, Hon AbdulRaheem Olajide Jimoh on Sunday donated cash gift to Anthony Emmanuel, a father of triplets and Mechanic by profession.
The lawmaker, representing Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency gave the cash gift of #100, 000 to the young man during empowerment programme to mark 100 days of Chairman of Yaba LCDA, Hon. Kayode Omiyale.
Jimoh, in his goodwill messages said he was thankful to God for the gift of triplets to family of Emmanuel.
“I was grateful to God when I heard that one of the beneficiaries gave birth to triplets. It showed to us that God has been doing great things in Yaba LCDA.
“The empowerment programme was the manifestation of electioneering campaign promise made by the chairman, Hon. Omiyale. I have the conviction that the council would become number in Lagos state in terms of performance.
“We can see that he thread on our good legacies we left during our time as chairman“, he said.
The Reps member also urged the beneficiaries to judiciously use the tools, cash gifts given to them by the council chairman.
At the programme, a total sum of #355,000 was donated for the new father of triplets. Also mechanic tool box was given to him to enable him work effectively and feed his family. 30 Widows also received cash gifts of #10,000 each. Other items distributed were giant freezers, 200 crates of Soft drinks, Generators, Grinding Machines, Electrical tools, Sewing Machines, Welding Tools, Vulcanizing Machines and Accessories , Hair Dryer, Giants Canoe, and many others.
Dignitaries donated for the young father of triplets were Otunba Tayo Oyemade, Alh. Mudashiru Odetunde, Hon. Wale Oshun, Hon Danjuma, Hon. H.O Mohammed among others.
