Gboyega Soyannwo, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, has sadly passed away after a brief illness.
Born on October 3, 1968, Soyannwo was a highly experienced and accomplished professional with a distinguished career spanning over 31 years in banking, finance, performance management, and strategy.
Prior to his appointment as Deputy Chief of Staff, Soyannwo had a successful banking career, holding various management positions between 2005 and 2009.
He was first appointed as Deputy Chief of Staff by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in 2019 and was reappointed in 2023, a testament to his dedication and expertise.
Soyannwo’s passing is a significant loss to the Lagos State Government and the entire community. His contributions and legacy will be deeply missed and remembered.
