Lagos Company Rejects Corps Member Over Gender Role
A privately owned company in Lagos State has rejected the deployment of a Corps Member to it’s establishment, BlackBox Nigeria reports.
According to the rejection letter now making rounds online, the company stated that though it needs the services of NYSC members but it requested for females.
The letter which was signed by the Admin Executive stated that the company was in need of services of female Youth Corps Members in the field of English, Economics, Marketing and other Social Sciences disciplines.
Nigerians on the social media, Twitter have started reacting to the letter, questioning why the company will be rejecting an eligible Corps Member only because of his gender.
