99-year-old Lagos City Council’s first clerk, Pa Hassan Fasinro is dead
Lagos State has lost one of its surviving founding fathers, Pa Hassan Fasinro who was a former Senator in the Second republic.
Pa Hassan Fasinro, popularly called HAB passed on at exactly 8:29pm on Sunday evening after a brief illness. He died aged 99 years.
He was a Senator in the Second Republic and the first Clerk of Lagos City Council and would have clocked 100 years by September this year

Ambode, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Habib Aruna, said Pa Fasinro was one of the great founding fathers of Lagos, saying that he was one of the main architects of Lagos.
