By A group of youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the umbrella of the Progressive Youth of Nigeria is set to hold a special prayer session for the party’s National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is running for the 2023 presidency.
The Lagos APC Youth Leader, Dr. Seriki Muritala made this known in a statement, saying 21 rounds of Tawaf will be done in the Holy City of Mecca, Saudi Arabia to seek divine intervention for the presidential bid of the former Lagos State governor.
According to him, the prayer session is billed to hold on Friday (today) at exactly 10am Mecca time. The point of convergence is King Fahd Gate (Gate 79), Ka’aaba in Mecca.
It would be recalled that the Progressive Young People of the Southwest region of the country recently organised a groundbreaking declaration of support for Tinubu to be Nigeria’s next president.
The event which was held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos had in attendance the presidential hopeful himself, Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat; among other dignitaries.
