The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has again been thrown into mourning following the death of a top chieftain, Professor Babatunde Samuel.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the politician breathed his last on Wednesday evening. Details about the actual cause of his death are still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
Until his death, Professor Samuel was a member of the influential and powerful Governor Advisory Council (GAC), the highest decision making body of the Lagos APC. He was also described as a staunch loyalist of presidential hopeful, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
He was the Chairman Governing Council, Lagos State University of Education formerly Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of the Federal University of Oye Ekiti and Chairman Governing Council of Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State, Nigeria.
