As the 2019 general election draws closer and politicians are becoming more active at the top hierarchy of their parties and grassroots of their various areas, the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) is set to flag off their campaign in Lagos today.
As the campaign starts today for all APC candidates in Lagos, party executives are set to storm the Sky Power campaign ground at Ikeja with thousands of APC followers in the state.
According to the Director for Local Government Affairs in the Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Independent Campaign Group (BOS ICG), Hon. Abdul Hamid Salau, the APC governorship candidate in Lagos State is the most popular, most influential and most prepared for the Alausa job.
The campaign flag off is expected to host political big wigs in Lagos State as the Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his running mate, Dr. kadri Obafemi Hamzat, at the GRA Ikeja venue of the campaign.
The three Lagos Senatorial Candidates, Senator Adeola Yayi (West), Senator Oluremi Tinubu (Central) and Hon. Bayo Osinowo (East) are also expected to be at the venue.
As at the time of filing in this report, supporters and followers of the various APC candidate were already arriving the venue in their numbers.
