By The Presidency have debunked the news making rounds that kitchen cabinet members, Abba Kyari and Lawal Daura have resigned their positions.
Making the confirmation was the Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Mallam Garba Shehu as he spoke with journalists late Sunday, April 23rd.
Garba Shehu stated that as far as he is concerned both the Chief of Staff and Director General of Department of State Service were still active in service.
The presidential spokesman said described the report as pure mischief.
“What I can tell you is that the President sent the Chief of Staff, Malam Abba Kyari, to China on an assignment.
“He left on Saturday and we are expecting him by the middle of the week. The DG DSS who spoke with me a few hours ago is busy on his job.
“Nothing to indicate resignation. I think these are mere distractions.”
