Nollywood movie director, Kemi Adetiba has confirmed that the third part of her top-notch action-packed movie ‘King Of Boys’ is in the pipeline.
The first part of the movie was released in 2018 and the second part was released on the international streaming platform, Netflix in 2021.
Taking to her Instagram page on Wednesday, Adetiba teased the third installment of the movie after sharing a picture of herself alongside Nollywood star, Sola Shobowale (who played the main character in the movie), and Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti. The trio posed in a background that looks like a movie set.
The award-winning director urged fans to anticipate the project.
“I just need y’all to know… That KOB 3 is gonna be a Wild Ride!,” she wrote.
‘King of Boys’ follows the story of an orphan, Eniola Salami (played by Shobowale) who found her way to the top of a group of cabal syndicates. With her personal ambition and backlog of activities, she has to suffer some setbacks – which included losing her only child and adopted child – before reaching her goal.
Even after giving up her old life, she will not stop being haunted by her past and the death of her children.
The movie featured other stars like Reminisce, IlBliss, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Jide Kosoko, and Akin Lewis, amongst others.
The sequel titled ‘King Of Boys: The Return of The King’ saw new faces like Nse Ikpe Etim, RMD, Efa Iwara, Deyemi Okanlawon, Charlie Boy, and Lord Frank.
