By The Supreme Court moments ago threw out an appeal filed by the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu who wished the annulment of the last Gubernatorial election of Edo State.
In the judgement, the nation’s apex court confirmed that Governor Godwin Obaseki remains the winner of the election.
The 7-man panel which was led by the Justice Walter Onnoghen, the Chief Justice of Nigeria stated that it will release reasons for its decision on July 24th.
