By Just In: Shehu Sani, Hunkuyi, Journalists Escape Mob Attack In Kaduna
Reports reaching BlackBox Nigeria has it that Senators of Kaduna Central and Kaduna North, Shehu Sani and Suleiman Hunkuyi moments ago escaped a mob who attempted to lynch them at the NUJ Press Centre loated at Muhammadu Buhari way, Kaduna State.
According to Tesem Akende of TVC News, the mob comprises of thugs who belonged to a faction of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the State.
It was learnt that the lawmakers and journalists had gathered at the Press Centre for a press briefing before they were invaded and chased out. Tension has since taken over the area where the Centre is located.
Sources revealed that the press briefing would have taken place at the party’s Secretariat in Kaduna, but it is presently been occupied by the Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s faction of the party.
