By Just In: Senate To Probe NNPC Boss, Baru Over Kachikwu’s Allegation
The Nigerian Senate has set up a panel to probe Group Managing Director of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr Maikanti Baru over allegations of insubordination levelled against him by the Minister of State, Dr Ibe Kachikwu.
According to a report by PuncNg, the panel set up by the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly will also investigate policies introduced by NNPC Trading Limited which was not cleared by the Board
which is Chaired by Dr Kachikwu.
It will be recalled that Kachikwu had petitioned President Muhammdu Buhari, reporting the NNPC boss of sidelining him and the entire Board with appointments and posting in the parent company of the oil industry.
