By The Independent National Electoral Commission has suspended the recall process of Kogi West Senatorial district lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye.
According to INEC’s National Commissioner for Information and Voter’s Education, Adedeji Soyebi, the decision to suspend it was as a result of the order of an Abuja High Court.
It will be recalled that Senator Melaye had approached the Court to halt the process initiated by his constituents.
It was learnt that the Court ordered that INEC should maintain the ‘status quo’ till it can state if it can hear the case instigated by the aggrieved lawmaker.
