The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has returned to Lagos after receiving medical treatment in London, United Kingdom.

This comes a day after the 2023 Southwest Agenda (SWAGA 2023) presidential campaign was flagged off. The campaign strategy is said to represent the former Lagos governor’s presidential bid ahead of the 2023 general polls.

Alongside SWAGA, other strong political groups such as Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO), have continued to organise campaign strategies on same course, inspite of the dilemma about whether a southerner or northerner should lead the nation.

However, Tinubu, who had been away for three months, came into Lagos on Friday evening discreetly as APC state congresses, expected to be held on October 15, draws near.

According to The Guild, sources from Tinubu’s house said that the politician left London for Lagos, Friday noon which contradicts the information in public domain that the APC national leader would arrive Nigeria on Sunday.

The sources revealed that Tinubu’s arrival in Lagos is not planned but the former governor wanted to touch ground at home first in order to meet his loved ones.

One of the sources, according to The Guild, confirmed that a prayer session, scheduled to hold on Saturday, had already been organised by the TSO campaign group.

The source explained that the group agenda was to always provide Tinubu with support at the time he need it the most.
