JUST IN : SSANU, NASU STRIKE : LASU Postpones First Semester Exams

Students and staffer of the Lagos State University have been barred from entering the school, following the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and Non-Academic Staff Union of Allied and Education Institutions (NASU) strike, Blackbox Nigeria reports.

Following the development, the schools first semester exams which had commenced last week has now been postponed indefinitely.

The Senior Staff Association Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Allied and Education Institutions (NASU) earlier announced that they will commence strike action on the 5th of February 2021 in a bid to get the FG to comply with their demands.

This was disclosed by Mr Peters Adeyemi, NASU General Secretary, in a statement jointly signed by Mr Mohammed Ibrahim, SSANU President, on Thursday, in Abuja.
