By Just in: Fire outbreak in Owerri airport

News reaching BlackBox Nigeria has it that there is a current fire outbreak at the Sam Mbakwe International Airport in Owerri, Imo state.
Although the cause of the fire remains unknown, it is however being subdued as at the time of filing this report.

BlackBox Nigeria further learnt that the airport which has been under renovation recently was overwhelmed by the fire which razed down the arrival hall while also destroying newly installed equipment.
