The Department of State Services, DSS, has engaged in a fight with warders, who are agents of the Nigeria Correctional Center, NCC, over possession of the former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
This dispute ensued on Tuesday, after the high court in Ikoyi, Lagos, granted Emefiele N20 million bail and one surety in like sum.
The court had ruled that pending the fulfilment of his bail conditions, Emefiele should be remanded at the correctional center.
However, the DSS stood up against this, insisting on taking away the suspended CBN governor into their custody.
This therefore led to a dispute, in the court premises, between the DSS operatives and the NCC agents.
