By JUST IN: Dino Malaye sacked by tribunal

In a sudden twist of fate, the Assembly Election Petition Tribunal of the Kogi State National Assembly has reported the victory of Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West Senetorial District as ‘void’.
Justice A. O. Chijioke-led three man panel in a unanimous judgment on Friday ruled that Adeyemi’s ground and order for reelection into the senatorial seat is acceptable.
Adeyemi (APC) had earlier approached INEC, challenging them that Malaye’s (PDP) victory in February was characterized by irregularities over voting and non-compliance with the electoral acts.
