The president Buhari-led administration on Wednesday, June 9, witnessed the first locally- made Mobile phone.
The phone was made by Otunba Niyi Adebayo and presented to the president at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
This was made known by the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
The post read, “President Buhari receives a ‘Made in Nigeria’ android phone from the Minister of Trade and Investment earlier this morning shortly before the commencement of this week’s Federal Executive Council Meeting at the State House, Abuja.
Also present at the meeting was vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, NSA Babagana Monguno , AGF Abubakar Malami, chief of staff, Ibrahim Gambari , Minister for information, Lai Mohammed, Finance Minister, Zainab Ahmed and SGF Boss Mustapha.
