The Soka Ibadan residence of self-styled Yoruba Nation activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has again been attacked by unknown gunmen.
This development comes less than 72 hours before the planned mega rally in Lagos State in continuation of his agitation for Oduduwa Republic.
Adeyemo has been in the news for his condemnation of various killings, kidnapping and attacks on innocent citizens in the South West Nigeria.
He had also conducted peaceful rallies in some states in the Southwest including Ondo, Osun and others.
According to DAILY POST, the latest attack on the activist’s residence occurred on Thursday midnight.
Confirming the incident during a live video, Igboho’s spokesperson, Mr Olayomi Koiki alleged that the assailants who stormed the area wore military uniforms.
He also disclosed that some persons were whisked away by the gunmen during the attack.
As at time of filing this report, the police is yet to give an official statement on the incident.
