JUST IN: Again, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp crash

Facebook-owned social media platforms, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram have crashed for the second time in 2021.

No fewer than three billion online users are currently unable to access their services.

In separate tweets, the social platforms have confirmed the development, saying it’d be resolved soon.

@WhatsApp wrote, “We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment.

“We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!”

“We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience,” tweeted @Facebook.

@InstagramComms said, “Instagram and friends are having a little bit of a hard time right now, and you may be having issues using them. Bear with us, we’re on it! #instagramdown.”

Recall that in March, the Facebook-owned apps suffered global outage, leaving users stranded.
