The Federal Government has declared Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th as public holiday to mark this year’s Eid-il-Fitr.
Sources in Abuja disclosed to BlackBox Nigeria that the holiday was declared even though the real date of the Fitr celebration is not known.
The end of the month of Ramadan which is subject to sighting of the moon which signifies the beginning of a new month is yet to be confirmed.
BBN confirmed that the fasting period is expected to end either on Sunday or Monday, both subject sighting of the new moon.
