Jimi Benson Commissions Facilitated Public Health Centres In Ikorodu

Rep. Babajimi Benson, member House of Representatives, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, on Saturday, commissioned two new Primary Health Centres (PHC) built in Ibeshe and Agbele communities of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and Ikorodu Local Government of Lagos State respectively.

According to Benson, he was aware of the challenges his consitituents face in getting access to healthcare, saying as their representative, he has resolved to ensure these problems are addressed through the facilitation of health projects.

The lawmaker expressed confidence that the beneficiary communities would effectively manage the health facility.

The Olubeshe of Ibese, His Royal Majesty,  Oba Richard Ogunsanya, in his remarks, commended Rep. Babajimi Benson for being thoughtful in facilitating the project, stating the PHC would provide quality healthcare delivery for the people of Ibese.

The monarch also praised the lawmaker for for supporting the growth of the community with a new town hall. Hon. Benson had disclosed that work on the town hall will commence in the following week.

Similarly, the Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Bldr Olusesan Mayokun Daini, appreciated Rep. Benson for his uncommon gesture, while assuring that his leadership will oversee the deployment of the required health workers to the health centre for effective service delivery.
