This was the exact case as the Lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representative, Hon. Babjimi Benson arrived Maine University in the United State of America as a panelist to discuss modalities in achieving a world without hunger.

Babajimi Benson who has a record of successfully running the iCare Food Bank initiative in his Federal Constituency back home in Nigeria got the America invite to attend the 14th Annual Presidents United to Solve Hunger, PUSH and Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit,UFWH, Maine University where the topic “ Challenge 2013: Working to Achieve a Zero Hunger World” was discussed.

BlackBox Nigeria gathered from the social media post of the Lawmaker on Instagram and Facebook that the invite was as a result of his lofty initiative in combating hunger head-on and share his insight to the world on how his team has been able to deploy data in meeting the food needs of target audience in the immediate community.
In his words,
“Today, I joined others at the 14th Annual Presidents United to Solve Hunger(PUSH) and Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit(UFWH), at the University of Maine , United States of America, as a panelist to discuss ,” UN Challenge 2030: Working to Achieve a Zero Hunger World,”
“The invitation came as part of the outreach efforts of iCare Food Bank and how we have been able to deploy data in meeting the food needs of people in our immediate environment.”
