By Jeta Amata teams up with Akon on upcoming movie, ‘The American King’
Celebrated Nollywood filmmaker, Jeta Amata is now putting finishing touches to his upcoming movie, ‘The American King’ which stars music star, Akon.
Filmed in Los Angeles, the movie also features Hollywood actors; Miguel A. Núñez Jr(Lethal Weapon), Michele Weaver, Anthony Powers, Vanessa Teemsma, as well as Nollywoods stars, Nse Ikpe Etim, Enyinna Nwigwe and Rahama Sadau who was last year expelled from Kannywood but got an offer from Akon and Jeta to join them on set.
BlackBox Nigeria learnt that Jeta Amata whose Black November was released to critical global acclaim started filming the movie since 2016 and it has taken over a year to put it together. As at a few days ago, shooting was still ongoing.
