The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a supplementary 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for 24,535 candidates, scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2024.

This rescheduling aims to give affected candidates adequate time to prepare for the exam. Among the candidates are those from Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (CAILS) and Kwara State University (KWASU) on the CAILS-KWASU Diploma program.

Additionally, 20,550 candidates whose results were under investigation and 2,702 candidates with unverifiable fingerprints have been granted the opportunity to retake the exam.

Furthermore, 322 candidates suspected of examination misconduct have been identified. The board has released an additional 3,921 outstanding 2024 UTME results, bringing the total released results to 1,883,350.

Candidates are advised to check their results starting from Saturday, June 1, 2024, and those scheduled for the supplementary exam should print their notification slips from Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

Also, JAMB has extended the Direct Entry (DE) registration deadline to Monday, June 17, 2024, and expanded registration points beyond the Professional Registration Centres (PRCs) owned by JAMB to accommodate the increased number of prospective candidates.

Eligible candidates are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity, as no further extensions will be granted. The previously announced criteria for DE registration remain unchanged. Additionally, a special registration exercise will be conducted for 3,633 prospective candidates who did not participate in the 2024 UTME for the CAILS-KWASU Diploma program.
