By Jackals And Hyenas: Resign From Buhari’s Cabinet To Support Atiku- Shehu Sani Advises Mama Taraba
An open critic of President Muhammadu Buhari has advised Mama Taraba to resign from her ministerial position so as to avail herself to campaign for Atiku 2019.
Senator Shehu Sani of Kaduna Central while reacting to the open support of Minister for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Aisha Jummai Alhassan for a former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s presidential ambition in next general election.
The lawmaker, unlike others who have called out the serving Minister for supporting another candidate described her as been open and not pretentious like other appointees who have been shady while working for President Buhari
He said, “The difference between that woman, who made the statement as a minister and others, is that she was open and others are still having it in their minds.
“If she is prepared to work for the former vice-president, she can easily excuse herself from this government and concentrate on what she believes in 2019.”
It will be recalled that while Buhari was on vacation in far away London, Senator Shehu had accused some appointees to be working for their personal interests as he described them as jackals and hyenas, he got the backing of the Wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari for that statement.
