The Isolo police station, on Wednesday, rescued 7 pregnant young girls who were stranded at the Cele bus stop, along Oshodi-Apapa Express way.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala ELkana, while speaking to Blackbox Nigeria, stated that the Isolo police station received a distress call at about 1a.m. on Wednesday about 7 stranded ladies, and therefore sent a team of detectives led by the divisional police officer, Isolo, CSP Folorunsho Gabriel.
Blackbox Nigeria also learnt that, the rescued girls were aged between 13 and 27, with 5 of them from Imo state and the other two from Abia and Rivers state respectively.
The Isolo division also rescued a child aged 2-years
DSP Bala confirmed that they were all sent to NATIP for further investigation.
