“Imota LCDA Requires Quality Representation And A More Inclusive Government”- Hon Anjorin, Chairmanship Aspirant

Hon. Hassan Anjorin is a chairmanship aspirant, contesting under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Imota LCDA. He once served as Deputy Executive Secretary of the Local Council Area.

Since he made his aspiration known, people including close relatives have been saying things about this business minded grassroots politician, it will be important to state clearly who indeed he is.

Anjorin started his school at the Salvation Army Primary School, Agege. He had his secondary school education at the popular Ansar-Ud-Deen Grammar School, Imota. He holds an OND degree from the Lagos State Polytechnic and a B.Sc Business Administration from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.

BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Anjorin is a community developer as he has engaged in many community service programmes and projects; he served as an active member of Imota Youth Vanguard, member of Imota Youth Forum, and member of Maja United Forum. He also served as the principal coordinator of Hon. Nurudeen-Saka Solaja Campaign Group in Imota LCDA, the principal coordinator of Hon. Abike-Dabiri Erewa Campaign Organization in Ikorodu Constituency II, and he was appointed as Deputy Executive Secretary of Imota LCDA in 2015.

He started engaging in practical politics since the time of Zero Party to UNCP, Alliance for Democracy (AD), Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and All Progressive Congress (APC). He is the CEO, Al-Amiroh Business Ventures and he has worked with both private and public organizations, which includes: Nichemtex Nigeria plc, and Lagos State Polytechnic.

Speaking with Ayayo Gong correspondence, Hon Anjorin made it known that he is contesting to give Imota LCDA a better alternative in terms of socio-economic, political, cultural, and infrastructural development, quality representation and inclusive government.

He said: “The popular stigma that “politics is a dirty game” in Nigeria is a misconception of politics. It’s all about building a desired society and to achieve this, it is necessary for people who has good vision and mission to be part of decision makers. Leaving politics in the hands of mediocres is part of the reason why we find ourselves in where we are today”

“Politics is by birth and hereditary, my political mentor is the amiable National leader of our Party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I love him and I choose him as my mentor because of his style of leadership, he is unique and his ways and manner of politicking which is quite different from other leaders that we have had in past till date. Other political mentors includes Hon. M.K Sanni, and Hon. Babajimi Benson”.

“My plans for Imota LCDA include Introduction of New Transportation Scheme, Improving Agricultural System, Provide quality medical Care for people, boosting the Local Council Internally Generated Revenue, relocation of the Local Council secretariat to a more befitting permanent site, initiating Light-Up Imota LCDA programme, ensuring security of life and properties, rehabilitation of roads, provision of bursary to students, renovation of Imota Public Library, inviting private investors, to mention but few” he added.
