Afrobeats sensation, Adekunle Gold has opened up about his personal journey of overcoming a deep-seated fear of losing the people around him.

In a tweet shared on his X (formerly Twitter) page on Wednesday, the singer revealed that he once struggled with this fear, but eventually found peace and confidence by learning to secure himself from within.

The singer explained that his mindset underwent a significant shift when he began embracing the idea of abundance over scarcity.

He realized that life is full of endless opportunities, and that personal growth doesn’t have to come at the cost of others.

Adekunle Gold encouraged his followers to not fear growth, as he believes that good things await those who venture into self-discovery and development.

He wrote, “I used to fear losing people, but I discovered the power of finding security within myself. I shifted my mindset from scarcity to abundance, realizing there’s no such thing as ‘only.’ Life is vast and full of possibilities.”
