Report reaching our situation room from a reliable source reveals that voting has been going on smoothly in most area of Ikoyi in Lagos which represents the home ground of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC Bola Ahmed Tinubu but not without glitches in certain areas within the metropolis.
Information has it the Unit 013 of Gerrard Road in the area witnessed the late arrival of INEC officials who arrived the polling unit around 11:20 AM with just the presidential ballot papers leaving out that of the Senate and House of Representatives.
This negligence on the part of the electoral umpire according to our source has led to commotion in the area as voters are refusing to go for their accreditation saying they don’t trust the process any longer.
Meanwhile our source also has it that voting has been going on smoothly at Dodan Barracks Polling Unit of the Ikoyi area but not without financial inducement as the two major parties; APC and PDP are reported giving the cash sum of ₦500 and ₦1000 before they vote.
