Report reaching us now is that, the Lagos State Police Command has arrested 13 out of the 19 alleged police operatives, who raided the Lakers County night club in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State on Sunday, for unprofessional conduct.
Black Box Nigeria gathered that the management of the club yesterday had sought redress over the attack by men of the Anti-Cultism Unit of the Lagos State Police Command, who invaded its premises and seized from its customers and workers valuables and cash running into several millions of Naira.

It was also reported that CCTV footage provided by the club’s management showed how the officers perpetuated the dastardly committed act against the customers and workers on duty in the club at the time, while some of the victims have yet to recover their belongings seized by the police officers during the raid.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, said in a statement Yesterday, January 9th 2019, the Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, had directed that all the policemen involved in the operation be invited for questioning, adding that 13 out of the 19 officers had been arrested, while the rest were expected to report to the investigative body before midnight today.
In Oti’s words, “Following the publication, the CP has directed that all the policemen involved in the operation be invited for questioning.”
“Presently, 13 out of the 19 officers, who raided the Lakers County night club in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, have been arrested and are undergoing interrogation at the command’s X-Squad Section, while the rest are expected to report to the investigative body before midnight.”
“Meanwhile, a team of detectives has been dispatched to the hotel to get evidence that will aid in the investigation and, ultimately, the prosecution of officers found culpable.” The statement reads.
One will recall that some set of men in the Nigerian Police Force was caught on camera during the weekend stealing from the club items and money belonging to the patrons and customers.
