Ikorodu Born, Mariam Amoke Makanjuola Shines at Nigerian Law School with First Class Honours

In a remarkable academic feat, Mariam Amoke Makanjuola, a native of Ikorodu, Lagos State, has graduated with First-Class Honours from the Nigerian Law School, placing her among the top 2% of over 7,000 candidates nationwide.

This achievement shows her dedication and resilience in the pursuit of legal excellence.

Mariam’s academic journey began at Lagos State University (LASU), where she earned her LL.B degree with a commendable CGPA of 4.20.

Her consistent academic performance earned her the Lagos State Government Scholarship during her undergraduate studies.

Subsequently, she was awarded the Perfecient Law School Scholarship, covering her full tuition at the Nigerian Law School and providing a ₦100,000 stipend.

Beyond her academic achievements, Mariam is a cybersecurity enthusiast and legal professional with expertise in corporate law and real estate.

She is also an advocate for human rights and community development, with interests spanning tech law, sports law, and energy & environmental law.

Meanwhile, Out of 260 first class at the law school, she was among the top list including Owodina Mojisola, a fellow lagosian who came third in the ranking.

Mariam’s story serves as an inspiration to many, highlighting the impact of determination, support, and a strong connection to one’s roots.
