Ikeja community hail councillor as he donates borehole to solve neighbourhood water problem
Youthful Lagos councillor, Ayotunde Adenuga has been hailed for his outstanding performance in representing his people and bringing them the dividends of democracy.

Ayotunde Adenuga, the councillor representing Ikeja Ward C during the week presented his constituents with a double tank borehole water system to huge accolades and commendations by all present.
The launch which had the political creme de la creme of Ikeja in attendance was a first of its kind project in the area which explained why everyone was quite excited.
The water project was commissioned by the Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Engineer Mojeed Balogun who described Hon. Adenuga as an impressive legislator and team player.
In his remarks, the Ikeja Local Government Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Dally Adeokun said he is particularly excited that Adenuga hasn’t disappointed him nor his constituents.
“It is worth celebrating that we have no cause to regret choosing Ayotunde Adenuga as our councillor in this ward.

He has proven that he is from a good home and that was what he brought into politics. We have seen other councillors who came before him and would rather invest their money in women but see what Ay has done today. No doubt the youths are the future of Ikeja and people like Ay have continued to positively show that the future is bright.”
The Leader of the Parliamentary arm of Ikeja Local Government, Hon. Adebowale Adetoro also described Adenuga who is his deputy as one of the shining lights of the parliament. He hailed him for being a team player who also heeds to advice.
Ayotunde Adenuga who is serving his first term in office in his remarks disclosed that the incessant water problem in the area inspired the project. He narrated an incident where he was passing through the community with a friend and they saw people carrying huge containers in search of water. He described how the friend challenged him into seeking a solution and even supported him financially to see that the project sees the light of day.
Other top politicians and administrators present at the commissioning were Otunba Amure, Hon. Yomi Mayungbe (Vice Chairman, Ikeja LG), Onamisan Okiri, Mrs Mosunmola Otaiku-Okoka (Ikeja Council Manager), Akeem Daudu (Secretary to the Local Government), Adeniyi Ojikutu (President, CAPDAN-Computer Village) amongst others.
