The Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, recently led a stakeholders meeting on the ongoing Oremeta Road construction project.
The interactive session, held on Monday, May 13th, 2024, brought together residents, community leaders, and contractors to discuss the project’s progress and address concerns.
Chairman Gbadebo-Alogba emphasized the importance of resident cooperation with the contractors to ensure the timely completion of the project, slated for within six months.
The Oremeta Road construction project, contracted to Michelad Nig. Ltd, aims to enhance connectivity and facilitate improved transportation infrastructure within the community.
The 300-meter road segment will feature drainage systems on both sides, ensuring a safer and more accessible route for residents.
During the meeting, stakeholders praised Chairman Gbadebo-Alogba’s proactive approach to governance and her commitment to delivering essential infrastructure projects.
The meeting received positive feedback from stakeholders, with Mrs. Kehinde Fesomu, the CDC chairman of Ijede LCDA, expressing gratitude to the council chairman for her proactive efforts and assuring the community of unwavering support throughout the construction phase.
Mr. Salami, the CDA chairman, echoed sentiments of unity and collective responsibility, addressing the diverse needs of residents and showcasing a strong sense of community ownership.
