The Executive Chairman Of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, accompanied by her Vice Chairman, Hon. Kabir Kazeem, on Wednesday, paid a working visit to the site of the ongoing construction of a new vocational training building.
The purpose of the visit was to inspect the building which will compliment the existing one at the Igbe-Ogunro area of the LCDA.
Ward C Councilor, Hon. Saka Nurudeen and some members of the council’s staff were also part of the delegation.
The project, which was facilitated by the House of Representatives member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon. Babajimi Benson, is expected to be ready for completion by the end of October.
The building will complement the existing 6 classrooms and a staff room; and it will consist of 2 classrooms, two staff rooms, a store and a toilet.
Traditional chiefs, the Onigbe of Igbe, Chief Shamsideen Saliu and the Baale of Igbe-Kapo, Chief Sunday Ajasa, were also in attendance to show the council boss around the dilapidated drainage system.
