In a bid to uplift the welfare of residents, traders, and market women, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba launched the “Ijede Tunrayo Community Empowerment Initiative” on May 13th, 2024.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba emphasized the LCDA’s commitment to quarterly palliative measures and reaffirmed the LCDA’s unwavering commitment to supporting residents during challenging economic times.
The initiative received commendation from Hon. Saheed Adefarasin, a prominent leader in Ijede LCDA, who endorsed the program and encouraged beneficiaries to leverage the funds to enhance their businesses.
Expressing appreciation, beneficiary Alhaja Ogidan Adijat expressed gratitude for the financial assistance, highlighting its significant impact on her petty trade and livelihood.
