The Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, has congratulated the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr. Kadiri Hamzat, on their well-deserved re-election.
She described the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the just-concluded gubernatorial election in Lagos as a clear statement from Lagosians that the impressive work of Governor Sanwo-Olu must continue.
Gbadebo-Alogba particularly appreciated the good people of Ijede for coming out to entrust their mandate in Governor Sanwo-Olu and the APC candidate for the Ikorodu Constituency II Lagos State House of Assembly seat, Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro.
In her words: “The good people of Ikorodu Constituency II and by extension, Lagosians marched to a struggle, defiled all sentiments and victory was achieved. They have proven that the collective voice remains the voice of the people”.
The council boss further thanked the residents of Ijede, traditional leaders, APC leaders and party faithful, CDA/CDC members, market men and women, religious leaders, artisans, NULGE, and other stakeholders for supporting the party to victory.
She noted that APC’s win has sealed a pact with democracy and good governance, urging everyone to remain calm and embrace the spirit of sportsmanship even in the face of political differences.
“We earnestly look forward to a seamless and symbiotic relationship between our administrations at both levels of government to benefits and better the lives of our people,” she added.
