As results of the 2023 general elections continue to trickle in, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba has won her polling unit for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
At the polling unit situated at Ward C, within Madan village in Ijede, the total number of accredited voters was 138.
The APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu polled 117 votes, while the Labour Party’s Peter Obi secured 11 votes. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar placed third with three votes.
Gbadebo-Alogba similarly pulled votes for Senator Tokunbo Abiru for Lagos East Senatorial District and Rep. Babajimi Benson for Ikorodu Federal Constituency, as both won with a landslide margin.
