Babajimi Benson for his commitment to infrastructural and environmental development in the Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

Among the projects inspected was the second phase of the 4.5-kilometer Abule-Eko to Ewu-Owa road project, initiated by Rep. Benson. The road, once completed, is expected to enhance connectivity and catalyze further development in the area.

The council boss also reviewed work on the 3.7-kilometre second collector drainage at Abule-Eko, facilitated by Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), Lagos State House of Assembly member for Ikorodu Constituency II.

Supported by the Lagos State Government, the drainage aims to channel water into the Abule-Eko to Ewu-Owa drainage system, addressing the community’s flooding issues.

Additionally, the construction of drainage and roadworks on Folashade Ibiwunmi Street in Igbopa-London was inspected. This project, spearheaded by the Ijede LCDA, is designed to mitigate flooding and improve access for residents.

Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba expressed satisfaction with the progress of the projects, emphasizing their importance in transforming the community’s infrastructure, boosting the local economy, and enhancing residents’ quality of life. She reassured stakeholders of the council’s commitment to providing the necessary resources to ensure timely completion.

During the visit, she praised Rep. Benson for his dedication to enhancing infrastructure and environmental resilience in the constituency.

The council chair also extended her gratitude to the Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman, Alhaja Kehinde Fesomu, alongside other community leaders and residents, for their cooperation in facilitating the smooth execution of the projects.
